T’was a rough day in apartment 5C at the corner of Fuffington Avenue and Barksome Drive. Miss Tidbits had a rather depressing week of soul draining work and a pink slip in her out box on Friday. A weekend of Ben and Jerrys and some stout, glassine fellows (Captain Morgan and a fellow named Jack Daniels) had left the apartment worse for wear. Much to Miss Tidbits surprise on Monday, the apartment was spotless and her darling herd of corgis tuckered out on the sofa. She’ll never know why.
