Introducing the Leader and mascot of the Non-Affiliates Club, Nein the German Ninetales. He is 5'09", 149lbs, and twenty-nine years old...or so he says. He speaks with an accent and is all to fond of chocolate cherries and hard candy.
Along with his secretary, Janie Deere, his main purpose is to tally and manage the coming and going of Non-Affiliates, among other numerous duties. Unlike most of the others, Nein is pretty much a permanent fixture in the club, and while he is always up for extra duty, it is is unlikely that he'll ever be fully exported.
For some reason, either through birth or unlucky accident, he's missing seven of his luxurious tails. Asking him about it usually doesn't yield any answers, though.

You're just appealing to the fan base. That's all. Valid excuse. Valid excuse.
In terms of characters design, that....happens to be pretty classy believe it or not. I like the idea of an older MALE lead that...looks like an actual male, but like he has some damn sense leading any type of group. (I.E- Anything that looks like it wouldn't be on Twilight. )
That and with his bags, it looks like a Ninetails with a lion's mane. And that rocks to me.
Though...I'll say I happen to like the quirk of a Ninetails with only 2 tails. I doubt anyone would come up with that.
So aside from artistic talent, I can applaud your innovation as well. :)
