Yeah in Detroit you can see all the buildings are brown from smog when the sun comes out. ahh home!

Ha! I'd take smog over the foul stench of the incinerators which seem to be working only on the days I'm down there!

Well Detroit's smog is not so bad, believe it or not. It may be the Motor City, but we have far less smog and fewer cars by far (ironically) than L.A., Chicago, or any big city really. As you know, Detroit only has like 650,000 people living in 143 square miles so you can drive for a while and not see anyone. The population of the city dropped by a third in the last 5 years alone.

Probably a lot safer now except for the roving gangs of ownerless dogs running in packs. People move out and leave the family dog to fend for itself, so good to be off the leash but then finding out there is no bowl of food waiting when he comes back home from running.

I only remember it used to be marijuana they were burning before I left in 2007.

I decided to go when a man was carjacked in a 16 pump gas station on 12-mile rd. in Rochester, then was shot to death through the glass by the same carjackers, who had taken his truck. he was talking to the police on the phone to make a police report to give to his insurance company to get another truck, the gang members only wanted a skull, not just his truck, they waited for the cops to come and arrest them, with a new liberal democrat law called 'Open Murder' where you simply surrender the gun, and only go to jail for three years, kicked out in three months becausde of liberal democrat bitching about the poor plight of young killers in a gang, dur to overcrowding.

I thought if it is so easy to murder someone for nothing just to get status in a gang, and Democrats will kick you out of jail due to overcrowding years short of the heinous crime you did, why am I staying in this frozen over Granholm Democrat's paradise anymore!? The station was just up the street from where I had an apartment in Rochester.

I didn't see the video, this is unreal, none of the freeways or streets are that flat it is all construction or two-lane traffic parking lots on Gratiot. Nowhere is the road that well paved, Hall road is a mire of potholes, (Or really anywhere in Warren) the freeway 97 I think is potholes all the way to Port Huron. Maybe on the streets where at 3 am on a taco bell run four fat guys in a BMW 325 E can blow a hot chevy off the road at a 140 mph! ...that was me, everybody asked why we were in Roseville all of a sudden, Cause I was going 140 when I passed that guy, that roasted his tires at the intersection next to us!
