The girls' story is comparatively mundane, just a garden-variety pair of conjoined twins who, because they shared a composite belly, were never separated because the parents deemed the operation unsafe. They grew up in a quiet Kansas town where everyone knew them and liked the earnest fem huskies.

Their names are Tabitha and Erin; Tabitha's on the cellphone to their specialist and tends to be the dominant twin while Erin is the submissive twin. They've also found a gastroenterologist in the city to take them as patients and he's more than willing to fit them into his schedule (especially since he's going to be pushing a paper about their treatment). So far, things are going rather well; between disability scholarships and their grades, this years' bill isn't quite so bad. However, the girls will have to get the grades and wow with their projects for better scholarships once they can declare and tuition climbs. Currently, they do have a roommate Charlotte (who isn't quite sure what to make of these two) an RA (who is acting like a smother hen) but beyond that, they have no contacts or friends close by.

Tabitha's the one on the phone. She's the dominant twin (in theory) and she's easy to rile up. Erin is the submissive twin who dfoesn't say much...but when she gets That Look in her eye, watch out!

Oh, the sisters do have a lot of tummy problems and tend to eat easy-to-diget-food, although every so often, they manage to sneak themselves a steak.
