Akuma exploring some ruins, there's a story behind the place but I don't think that is for me to tell.

What makes this piece supes dupes interesting is that I've drawn this character before. Perhaps now is a good time to compare old art to new. Please don't treat this as an actual remake of the old piece though, for it isn't.

There's still things I really like about the old one. It's done in that painfully detailed style without any fancy brushes that I personally adore, but that killed a lot of the fun of drawing. In the old one I seem to have not paid much attention to basic stuff like anatomy and lighting. New piece has a lot more exploring outside my comfort zones, which hopefully will help me improve further.


Sadly the recording for a speedpaint of this got destroyed, or rather stopped abruptly and I noticed too late. I am really hoping to make a Patreon at some point and provide painting processes, tutorials, redlines and other useful resources for anyone who wants to learn arting, and I'm salty about losing potential content since I don't want to start it up before I have enough to offer. If there's someone out there interested in the whole idea, I'm very receptive to suggestions about what kind of content I should include. Thanks.
