Here's my simple feral reference for my character Elke.
I adopted her anthro form from
BaronessAbyss, but I found it also natural to also show her as a feral as well! I'm also working on an anthro reference as well, which I hope to upload in the near future.
Elke is a 16.2 hand silver pangare classic champagne sabino Georgian Grande. Georgian Grandes are warmblood horses created from a cross between usually a Frisian and an American Saddlebred (sometimes called a "sports-Frisian"). They also use a Baroque horse style of conformation.
Another key thing about Elke is her coat color, which is a classic champagne. Champagne is a unique color dilution in horses, and can sometimes be mistaken as a cream. The surefire way of telling the difference between champagne and other coat colors is the color of the skin, which should be a darker pink and have freckles all over. You can carefully look at Elke's muzzle and eyes, and the freckles will be visible there. These freckles will also appear on her genitals and uders, anywhere the skin is exposed.
Elke's feral personality is that she's fairly obedient and willing to cooperation with her rider or driver. She's also gentle and a bit shy, though is able to keep calm in an emergency. She's also not particularly competitive in pecking order, generally almost always in the middle, despite that she's generally taller than most other mares in the herd. She's generally cautious, particularly in an unusual situation or encounter. Temperament wise she's probably a two or a three.
Feel free to make any comments or suggestions, if you have any more questions about her feral form, then leave a comment and I'll try my best to answer them!
