clothes are interesting, they serve many different social, cultural and psychological functions

I can certainly understand the appeal of that.

I on the other hand am a Mormon and have a very high standard of modesty due to my beliefs about how sacred the body is.I believe some parts of us should be seen only by ourselves and our eternal companion. It's not as special anymore if shared with everyone.

But clothes which are designed for fashion and social reasons, not for comfort and respect of the body should be shunned at all times, by an means.

well, except occasionally it's ok to wear a costume, just for fun. even an uncomfortable one.

I totally understand that philosophy, and have respect for those who choose that path, but for myself I do not.

Love is more important than Sex, and eternity more important than this brief moment of mortal life we pass through, and integrity more important than indulgence, joy more important then physical pleasure

I agree with "LOVE the one you are with", LOVE is unconditional, and can be given to many with out diminishing it's value.

Sex is not unconditional. sex is too sacred to used in that way. it is an eternal unbreakable bond between a man and a woman, and those who break the bond do so to their own harm.

It's so sad that our culture has come so completely to equate sex with love. We all need more love than we could safely get in sexual relationships, and most sexual relationships fail to truly convey love. People lacking love seek sex instead and walk away still longing for love, and seek more and more sex trying to fill a need that sex will never fill. ANd people want ing LOVE from people of the same gender seek sex with them instead. sometime there is love. but sex is not love and does not satisfy the need for love.

For sex to be truly and expression of real love, we must be in a permanent totally committed loving relationship, which will never end even if sex becomes impossible. Then sex --given only to the one and no one else, ever--becomes a higher expression of love..the highest expression of love.

People who involve themselves in casual sex give up hope of that highest love, and real sexual bonding. I think that's really sad.

this is just MY belief, however. many people would not agree at all with me and that's ok.

JoCarmen, I am suprised to say that you are the first person on here that thinks the same way as me. Even though we are of different creeds.

truth is inherent in the world, not owned exclusively by any creed. wise people who seek after it will find it eventually no matter which way you walk.

It's good to know there is someone here that thinks they think the same way I do, in some small way at least.

hey I know/knew more than afew mormans in my life & I gotta say I'd've & I did agree with you about the nudity point but the longer I waited for my morman life partner the less I was gonna wait to show my body , if my morman life partner comes back to me maybe we can start down that path again , , , but I wonder sometimes did life & time ......well that last part is just ramblings
