Its been a while deviant but Im back and I felt really creatively charged! After seeing #rupaulsdragrace and seeing #kalorie how could I not fall in love with her?? I checked her instagram page and I saw this fanart by www.instagram.com/jerryb_jr/ and with his permission I was able to create this #papercraft
I tried something new and introduced paints into my art. All of the background is painted and the "lights" are propped up and with Kalorie being propped up herself. She is completely created from paper and glue. Sounds totally like #dragonadime lol But I will tell you I felt the stress it took over a week to create this piece.

Oh, crap, sorry to hear you're less than well...but glad you're still around and creating, just the same. I'm doing pretty well. Some health issues too, but settling comfortably into retirement with my really wonderful wife and kitty. Wishing you the best, remembering you most fondly, and thank you for posting...hearing from you was a lovely surprise!
