One of 3 fusion sonas that I have planned. Monolith is a mix of Umbra and Zenith, and manifests when Zenith assumes liquid form and reforms over Umbra. Because of Zenith's ability to shapeshift and fluctuate between states of matter, they can effectively reform as a hardened carapace around Umbra.

Monolith is a very cryptic being in how they behave, which is a direct result of the individual aspects represented in their pre-fusion selves. They have a tendency of speaking in broken or incomplete sentences, sometimes obscured by static. Strangely, Monolith's voice also seems to produce tones similar to that of piano keys being played for each word. Between the radio distortion and musical undertones, the sound is something like a deep voice speaking through a transistor radio with a piano ringing out in unison.

Monolith retains some of Umbra and Zenith's original abilities, having a keen sense of smell and hearing and heightened vision in the dark, as well as attunement with electrical currents, radio waves, and microwave rays. They also retain the ability to shapeshift, though any new forms are additive to Umbra's base form.
