I've been seeing these circulating, and I think it's a really cool idea, so I decided to jump in :3 Drew this all in my sketchbook and scanned it in, but hey, whatever works, right?
5 Years Old - Rhumika unfortunately lost her parents at a very young age, but has little memory of them. She was raised by several of her parent's friends, being switched off occasionally and moving around a lot. Because she tends to not have much in the way of friends at this point, her imagination is what keeps her entertained. Something as simple as a butterfly is a roaring, colorful dragon in her eyes.
13 Years Old - As Rhumika gets a little more settled in her childhood, she slips into the role of a tomboy. Boys dislike playing sports with her because she wins more often then they'd like. She barely ever touched anything feminine during this point in her life, preferring to play in the mud instead. She was definitely a late bloomer when it came to puberty.
17 Years Old - Rhumika is submerged in the deepest parts of her teenage angst. Her hormones and her emotions go on overdrive, trying to find her own identity. Her body is in a really awkward point, and she finds it difficult to cope. She wants so badly to shed her tomboy ways away, but has no idea how to be feminine. The only way she knows how to cope is through anger. Oh, the troubled teenage years.
25 Years Old - After years of angst, Rhumika finally comes to terms with herself. She learns to embrace everything about her, including her flaws. Through experimenting with fashion, she's able to find her small feminine touches, while using her tomboy-ish looks to her advantage. She's shed the husk of teenage depression and eagerly transitions into adulthood, ready for the excitement and exploration it holds.
