A commission for  eaglealex of a very interesting dream he had and asked me to recreate. he wrote this passage below to go with the image:

The torch flames flicked up at the ceiling and casted the dim light spreading across the temple floor. The avian priest sitting by the emperor's bed hummed unsettling tones throughout the chambers while the cold winds echoed faint wispers from outside. Sweating the large avian emperor lay comotose in his bed, panting and twitching in his I'll state. A sudden wind rips through the temple smothering the torches flames darkening the room. The priest slowly widens his eyes feeling a wing grab from beside him. "Cemenahuac" the emperor said softly to the priest. "I had a vision" he continued to the priest. "What was your vision my liege?" the priest asked. Faintly the emperor continued, "There were three mountains, upon a giant sphere in the sky. And upon it, below our majestic mountains lay every tribe and every city of life." The priest fell silent pondering what the emperor had described. Was it all just a fevered dream? or something more.
