solarknight99 's twin brother and sister characters, Sol and Solstice, find themselves matched with a pair of enyos who were likewise born together as non-identical twins. Although unconfirmed, this could lend further credence to the hypothesis that an enyo is destined to meet the one it pairs with.

Whatever the case, this pair of silver and gold demons seem delighted at the bond they've forms; not only with their enyos, but just that much more deeply with one another. This feeling deep down to their very souls will last them forever.

Still working on improving my metallics on this one. I feel like I'm getting better, but who knows. Anyway, even though Sol and Solstice are technically fraternal (dizygotic) twins, this still gives a very good gender comparison in general between the Istrala. Like in humans, female Istrala are generally shorter and smaller of frame than their male counterparts; although this can also be influenced by the CATEGORY of demon they've become. (Don't worry, we'll discuss those categories later.)

However, it should be noted that male OR female, an enyo-demon will always take a lean, muscular form; essentially how the human would look at their absolute theoretical physical peak. Their physical strength is also a little less clearly defined than in human males vs. females, as a lot of their raw physical power output comes from their control over the powers of darkness that they control. A relatively small Istrala could potentially be powerful beyond their physical body; though larger enyos will still almost always be more physically powerful. The best I can say on the sexual dimorphism of physical capabilities at this point is... "It depends."

It should be noted that the enyo themselves have no gender; they (usually) take on the sexual characteristics of the human who formed together with them. But there are always exceptions~.
