So that bar just before the anchor is the bridge? and it holds the strings up, im guessing to add to the tension?

Huh, never heard of it. I was guessing Ibanez. Oh well, what these guys are saying above me are right: strings, and a bridge. Both aren't hard to find, just go to a local instrument store and ask for a bridge for your Harmony guitar. Be sure to write down the serial number, too, so they can match exactly. You might have problems if the model is a little older or lesser sold; the parts might not be in stock. Other than that, though, you should be ok. Know how to string it up?

By the way, I wouldn't worry about a whammy bar for this one, it doesn't look like the guitar is designed for one.

It never had a whammy, oh! and isn't there sposed to be something inside the big silver thing below the bridge? I checked it and there was nothing in there that the strings could mount/anchor to, unless they anchor to the teeth in there o_O *mind fries*

Hmm...ok, tell me something. When you flip the guitar around, is there a slot or a set of holes in the back of the body?

Nothing, just plain with a silver plate at the base of the neck with "H 804 Harmony" then a sticker that has the most recent previous recorded inspections agent/store

OK, nevermind. I just saw the pictures, and it's clear to me that there isn't. Could you describe to me what that silvery bottom piece looks like, exactly? I can't tell from the pictures, but there must be a way to feed the strings through it.
