Nothing better than finding peace where once there was turmoil and drama.
Shea padded along, her feet tired from the long walk out of her old homelands. Something felt different, something in the wind. Scenting the breeze, her senses were greeted with the scent of fresh, new grass, flowers. Stopping in her tracks, the wolfess felt the sun on her ebony pelt as it slowly sunk behind the horizon. Soon positioning herself under a medium-sized tree, enough to give her a little shelter should the weather turn at any point. Shea welcomed the cool grass between her digits, her paws sinking into the lush grass. Giving a little sigh, she closed her blue eyes and sprawled out on the grass below.
Everything felt right for once. Although she was on her own, she was at peace.
A smile crossed her muzzle, another little sigh escaped her maw as she slowly drifted off, the cool breeze ruffling her fur.
And for once, her tail began to wag happily behind her.
The little scarred wolf had found her little piece of heaven.
