Lilys makes me think of Alphys in Undyne's position (buff guard captain with a missing eye, but replaced because science), but Lavaton doesn't particularly remind me of a second person beyond Metaton.
Is the Alphys bit intentional or coincidental? If it's intentional, am I missing the secondary for Lavaton?

Ok, so there are several underswap AUs, where characters are swapped with someone, Alphys with Undyne, Asgore with Toriel, Frisk with Chara, Sans with Papyrus, Napstablook and Mettaton, etc.

A connection I'm not making is where the Lil- in Lilys, and the Lav- in Lavaton are from. Alphys to -ys and Mettaton to -aton, but Lil- to ?? and Lava- to ??
