I've been on FA and in the fandom for so many years, but have never thought of creating a character who can make nice contribution. I guess this day has come xD.

That's true the Madagascar movies are some of my most favorites due to a number of reasons, and I can most certainly gush about its characters, toony set up and a remarkable design. What can I say? I can't get enough of them!

During one of discussions with my really close friend,  DannyDukeHazard, who has awesome artistic and creative skills, José the panther was born. I was lucky enough to commission a refernce sheet of this responsible-at-night and completely-slacking-off-during-the-day Guardian of an Ancient Temple somewhere in the Amazon Forest.

He's 24 years old and certainly of Hispanic origin (just look at his wristlaces - he's a Colombian! ;) ). José was adopted into a village made up of various South American animals, including an elder Galapagos Turtle that took him in as a child (who may also get his spotlight in the future!).

I really wanted José to look as authentic as possible for him to fit in any of future Madagascar movies, I mean who knows, maybe he could meet Alex and his gang, the circus or even the North Wind task force once, starting one more adventure around the mysteries of the Amazon forest.

José wears loincloth as part of tradition in his tribe, has the Sun, the Moon and the Stars tattoes as well as possese lots of nice accesories such as the wristlaces, the necklace and the one on his tail.

He's a pretty sweet guy, who is great to make friends with. But just like everyone, he is not flawless as he may be reaaally lazy when he doesn't have to take care of the Temple, so be ready to meet him sleeping and snoring in an awkard pose somewhere on the tree :D
