"You see it all the time on furry websites, chat clients and Second Life. Perfectly sculpted bodies, thin-but-muscular or slim-yet-curvy builds, impossible body types. That NONE of us have in real life. If we do, we're in the vast minority.
So I challenge you, FA. Take a photo of yourself, fully clothed or in your skivvies. Trace your body type and marks exactly, blemishes, scars and all. Then apply your character to the form. Let's see what the REAL face of FA is."
As with TheDeKay's statement - this was almost pointless since I honestly draw her as is, lol. The only striking artistic difference is I draw my fursona with her hair down mostly & give her more fitting shirts so you can at least tell it's a girl. xD I'm not voluptuous, but not over-weight either.
*It's weird to see people do this meme with only a face shots or a weird MySpace angle...kind of defeats the purpose. :C

very good idea. makes sense too considering that no one ever draws themselves, furry or otherwise, they're natural weight. some people may be slender but others not yet still they draw these thin characters. it may be the fact that skinny is easier to draw, but all the same. thumbs up to you ^.^
