So for those who do not follow me on Twitter and IG, my life is snakes now LOL This adorable little gal is a brazilian rainbow boa, and if you look closely you can see why they are called rainbow boas! They have a colorful iridescence in the light c:
Very excited, I've wanted a snake since I was very young and I got my first one less than a month before this girl. Literally got her last sunday at a local expo!
My first snake I got in April, a male albino black pastel ball python.
I just got another ball python this past thursday, a male pied het lavender albino.
Also bought a female lavender albino het pied. She's not ready to come home yet cos she just hatched recently!
Anyone wanna guess what project I am going for with those last two? :P It's my favorite BP morph, really excited to maybe produce my own in 2-3 years!
Anyway I wanted to share snake stuff. I'm not very active in the reptile communities on facebook cos I have heard about how mean people can get, it's quite a shame. I choose not to give people the opportunity to start drama against me XDD
Anyone own snakes? What do you have? Anyone breed snakes? Favorites ball python morphs? I need to make some snake-loving friends lol

It's a Zoo Med thermomter/Hydrometer reader! Well the one in the pic is the thermometer. The hydrometer is to the right of it. It's just so I can see the ambient temperature. This species of snake is very sensitive to higher temperatures and low humidity so I like to have a way to check it easily throughout the day c:
Atm she eats mouse pinkies cos she is so tiny c: Once she gets a little bigger I am gonna try and switch her over to rat pinkies! I hear rats are more nutritious so I'll be trying to switch all my snakes over soon hopefully! They can be kinda picky tho, hopefully they won't give me too much of a challenge haha

OH MY they ARE!! I mean I've LOVED snakes since I was really young, caught a lot of wild garter snakes and stuff. And so I knew I'd always own one someday. Didn't think I'd end up with 3 in less than a month of each other XD But I am very happy with my new friends. Even more excited to breed in the future and try and produce my dream BP morph!! :D
And OMG the white lipped pythons are gorgeous!! There are just too many pretty snakes out there. Have you ever seen an albino checkered gartersnake? That's on my list of dream pets for sure haha They're so pretty. And a lavender corn snake, banana clown BP... (help)

I went to a reptile expo last week and only one table had two cups each labeled "albino checkered garter snake" and they were both gone. I was so sad lol I wanted to snatch one up! But instead I got the rainbow girl pictured above <3
BP morphs can get pretty impressive, there are sooo many. My personal favs are the dreamcicle, mystic potion, banana, and clown. Tho some of the axanthic ones look pretty awesome too! And of course pied anything!. Aside from dreamcicle I think my favorite pied is the pumpkin pied. They look AWESOME!
