Dana Tan walked home in a huff, her phone clutched in her hands and her head focused down as she grumbled to herself. She had just gotten into another fight with Terry McGinnis over his constant lateness for their dates, and left the club they both were supposed to meet with no desire to call a cab, preferring to let out her aggression in a fast-paced stroll through Neo Gotham. However, in her anger, she hadn’t noticed where exactly she was going and with one wrong turn, she was walking down the bad parts of the city with little sense of how to get back home from there. From the shadows, a slender hand pulled her into an alleyway and plugged her lips full with a metal object. Utterly confused and expecting to have been mugged by now, Dana turned around to see who her attacker was. She came face to face with a female member of the notorious street gang known as the Jokerz, and despite trying to spit it out, the metal object wouldn’t slip out of her lips, the clown girl letting out a maniacal laugh of delight.  "Hey there girly, the name’s Dottie! Ya better get used to the name cause from now on, that's your name too! Hahaha!"


Dana tried to run away, but as steam started emitting from the device’s end, she was unable to keep her balance and tumbles against a wall as her whole body starts to tingle. Her assailant stood over her, grinning as she continued to lord over her. "You see, recruitin’ good Jokerz is getting harder with the Bat Freak around, so we kidnapped some egghead scientist and ‘convinced’ him to make us this nifty little serum!!” She flicked the tiny rod in Dana’s mouth, her mind suddenly filled with worry. “It does all kinds of boring, nerdy, science junk, but the neat part is that it turns chumps like you into full fledged Jokerz!!” Her eyes widen, trying to spit out the pipe even more, and with even more failure. “The extra fun part is the smoke doohickey is gena-ticlicky linked to the one who uses it, so now, you’re one of us because you're turning into ME!!” She gave her a quick smack in her rear. “Just try to smile during your initiation, toots! Hahaha!"
