I got hung up on these tiny vulpines after seeing one of those Animal Planet shows about desert critters about ten years ago. They're noisy, grumpy little cusses, but Gahd's own cute. Jeff Corwin had a 'pet' Fennec named Teacup, who sometimes got a credit at the end of the show as T. Kupp Fox or some such. The footage of Teacup harassing their (much) larger house cat seemed typical.
