"Some storm out there..." Freddrick peered out the window, watching the waves crash from all around, the cruise ship rocking back and forth, causing a few of his belongings to come flying towards the floor. He picked up his phone, realizing he had no signal, figured that the storm caused some sort of power outage, and went out of his room. Tons of people were running, panicking down the hall, none of them sure on what to do, while Freddrick turned, figured that going higher ground may be the better option.
Unfortunately, this turned out to be a very BAD idea, because as soon as he climbed up there, a strong wind blew. Freddrick slipped and screamed as he crashed into the churning waters below before blacking out. Freddrick groaned as he came to. He blinked, seeing bright sunlight. He struggled to get up and felt sand underneath him. "Huh?" he looked around to see himself on an island "Where.. am I?" he mumbled. Suddenly he was interrupted by a frog croaking "Ah!" he said started as he saw a frog standing there staring at him "Go away!" Freddrick said. The frog hopped off, and Freddrick stood up taking in his surroundings.
Frederick looked around him, noticing some tropical trees surrounding him, animals making noises off in the distance, as he realized he was stuck on an island. He looked up to the sky, trying to make out a plane of some kind flying by, but figured it wasn't going to happen. He sighed, decided that standing around won't do much, considering the fact that there was nothing around his surrounding area, except... "Maybe I can look for a rod or something to use? But I should make a den of some kind before I do."
Frederick sighed as he gathered some large branches and palm leaves. He worked, and eventually had a decent hut. "Well... it's better then nothing.." He sighed. He wandered around looking for some food. "Come on.. any fruits, berries, nuts?" He said to himself. But unfortunately, there was none of that. Frederick soon took another branch and tied a thin vine to it. Then he tied a thorny stick to the end. "Guess the only thing I have to eat is fish.."
Frederick figured he had no choice, but he wasn't too excited about it. Fredrick never got into seafood as some people do. It was that fishy taste that was too strong for him, making Fredrick sick after eating it. He gulped, looking down at the rod, not wanting to puke another time, yet he really had no other options. He couldn't even seem to find anything else to cook. He sighed, pulling the rod back behind him, and then flinging it towards the sea.
He sighed again as he watched, and waited. Fredrick soon started to zone out, but was interrupted by a loud "RIBBIT!" "Ah!" He turned to see the frog staring at him again. "Will you go away! Leave me alone!" Frederick said. The frog turned and hopped away. After a half hour, Frederick finally had a catch and pulled up a decent sized fish. "Well... I have no choice..." He set to making a fire and started to cook it. It grew dark as his dinner was finally ready. "What a mess I'm in..." Frederick said to himself. "Stuck on an island... Wearing nothing but tattered clothes, flip flops, gloves, and a belt... Stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere... This is misery..."
"Also, I gotta eat you..." Fredrick stared at the fishes burnt head, its eyes seemed to stare back at him, waiting for the opportunity to be consumed, and hopping for Fredricks inevitable doom. He breathed, picking up the fish, and stuffing it into his mouth. He chewed the fish a bit, wasn't sure if he was going crazy or not. It tasted kind of... Good. It wasn't good but it wasn't awful either. It was... Fine. He bit into the fish after a while, until he suddenly felt tired. He rustled into his den and began to drift off.
As the night air and sea breeze filled everything, and the sounds of the ocean lulled him into a deep sleep, Fredricks' stomach started to rumble. It wasn't getting sick or anything, but it started to grow, and grow, and grow until it tore off his pants and shirt. His belt, on the other hand, seemed to expand with his gut, always remaining at the perfect fit. As his belly neared sumo-sized, fur started to sprout out around his belly button.
The fur spread over his gut, growing white tuffs of fluff, sticking out near where his pecs should have been. He scratched the belly as he slept, his feet shrinking, growing dark purple fur, yet growing a thick chunk of fat, feeling out his sandals, while his feet rounded, losing definition on his toes. His legs weren't even hanging on, but they did rip once a giant purple stripped tail came bursting out of his tailbone, making Fredrick rolled around a bit, trying to find a comfortable position as he slept.
His tail lengthened, growing long and fluffy. The purple spread up his body, around his gut, which was now white as snow with fur, and towards his chest, which sported a near forest of chest fur. The purple color reached his shoulders, which cracked and broadened. Then it slowly made its way down his arms. His arms grew thicker as well. With muscle inside, but fat on the outside. Purple stripes started to form on them as well.
His hands grew within his gloves, thickening, and becoming larger for a fisherman. Fredricks dreams even shifted, from seeing his family again to wanting to catch some fish, while he giggles in his sleep. Fredricks' neck disappears, only his head in place, as his voice became comical and goofy. His mouth region grows white fur, sticking out in three tuffs on each side, while his jawline drinks inwards, leaving with barely a chin at all. His nose region stretches outwards, forming into a muzzle, and causes his nose to shrink the buttoned size, turning black. The outside of his eye area became dark purple, his eyes shifting to be round, while his ears stretched. They grew huge, growing a few feet bigger, and wider as they became giant cat ears, resting over his head. The hair on top of his head condenses into the purple fur, growing a dark purple line on top, as the sun began to rise beyond the sea.
He yawned and woke up. "Uh... morning already?" He said in a much deeper voice, rubbing his eyes. He climbed out of his makeshift bed, and out from under his hut. "Another great day!" He smiled looking out towards the sunrise. "Better get some breakfast!"He smiled and grabbed his fishing pole, Which had changed from a stick and vine to a high-class fishing pole. With it slung over his shoulder, he walked out to the shoreline, then plopped down onto the sand.
The giant cat cast his fishing pole into the water, watching the bobber bop up and down in the water, sitting on top of his bottom, as he patiently waited. Eventually, he felt a push from his pole, reeling in the bobber, using his brute strength to pull it in, until a small plump fish out of the water, landing in front of the big guy. It flopped around, trying to breathe in some air, as the cat caught the fish up, and did a little dance. "I CAUGHT A FISHY!"
He then heard a croak and looked down to see the same frog from before sitting there. "Oh, Froggy!" Big smiled. "There you are! I'm glad your back! Look! I caught breakfast!" Froggy turned and hopped off. "Wait for me Froggy!" Big said. They reached the fire pit and lit a fire cooking the fish. "It looks like it's going to be another great day Froggy!" Big smiled. "I love living here! This is Paradise!" They smiled and sat down looking out to the sea as they ate.
