Here is a little WWI anthro piece that i decided to do recently. I drew this as it is is one of the conflicts in history i have studied the most as a time of great innovation in the way that war is waged. I tried to give it a sketchy look that would try to bring a sense of realism, and give the work a sort of period look that reflects the mood of the conflict.

I tried to make it look as close to some of the artist renderings that i have seen from the era.
