You see it all the time on furry websites, chat clients and Second Life. Perfectly sculpted bodies, thin-but-muscular or slim-yet-curvy builds, impossible body types. That NONE of us have in real life. If we do, we're in the minority.
So I challenge you, FA. Take a photo of yourself, fully clothed or in your skivvies. Trace your body type and marks exactly, blemishes, scars and all. Then apply your character to the form. Let's see what the REAL face of FA is.
I was really nervious about posting this... but after some reassuring of my boyfriend and my own mother (she actually took the picture of me standing like this.) I realized I'm not to worried about my weight as I think I am. I know the reason I've gained so much was due to health problems in the past year; ever since my son was born, it really screwed with my body hormonially and just in general. My knee has been so bad ever since he was born, I have to use a cane to get around (which is why I opted to lean on it. And yes, my left knee is the one that's screwed up.)

Believe me, I felt the same way you did before posting mine..then I just told myself to suck it up and threw a sock up into my fan. I wasn't always as ok looking as I am now to be honest and I see nothing here that you should be ashamed of :3 We're all different looking and all have different body types and shapes..and MOST of us are mature here lol cept for superficial, shallow assholes who need to just go live in a manhole for 3 weeks.
XD Thanks, Kris. I've had a lot of confidence issues, more over, I just hate how this weight I've gained just is something that I really couldn't help gaining this weight. But I'm thankful for having Logan with me... He gave me so much confidence just before I posted this, practically begging me to do so.
hey...you look awesome...i gained weight after being sick too but hey we survived so go us! plus now that house has become the rage....cane's are back in...at least thats what people told me when i was using mine.
sure wish i could draw as this is a bandwagon i want to be on...scars and other stuff show how much strength we have over our smexy avs who haven't had to live where things totally suck sometimes.

You look preety :D , in all honesty I feel that big girls look nice but beyond this complement, it's amazing the honesty you show here, I feel that you are your art now.
