The language demonstrated throughout Axis of Conflict is that of the Kin, and has evolved organically (as most languages do) and is still very young, having only existed for fewer than 50 years. The general build and logic of it has roots in both pictorial cuneiform and Roman-English, with Babylonian numerals. A phonetic language, the sounds of each letter of their modified alphabet is limited by the sounds capable of a longer, more rigid muzzle. Certain species, such as those of the Reptile Type in particular, speak with a very deliberate rigidity as their stiff flesh requires more time to pronounce certain sounds and they sound as though speaking with a foreign dialect.
