I'm trying to replace my Warhammer Anubis guys (what are they called?).

I have no idea, I never played Warhammer. The only non-videogame I ever picked up was Magic the Gathering, and honestly I only do that because I'm good at it and I get a rush when I win.

Khemri undead come to mind, as having the whole egyptian theme going for them... no idea if that's what you meant, though. Don't think either the Skaven (rats) or Chaos Beastmen (goaty things) would qualify...

No... They aren't undead, but they were Egyptian-esque (damn it, what are they called?). There actually are some Skaven figs in there, as well.

The only ones that come to mind with that description would be Khemri / Tomb Kings, I'm afraid. At least, there's nothing else of the sort that I can find in the army lists on Games Workshop's website.

No that's not it! I had a ton of them, and they were, like, rank and file guys, but really nicely sculpted. There were archers and spear guys... Oh, and if it helps, there was another set by the same company which were cat-headed women with big naked boobs (also Egyptian themed). I have been trying to find them for a year and have found nothing with that matches the description even remotely. It's weird. They look like Reaper figs, but I'm not sure if they are or not.

Woah, that's a lot. Sad that you didn't get yours back, but..wow. I've never gotten into tabletop games because I know I'd buy way too many figures and probably fail at painting them, so I'd have to learn and then I'd have no life at all.

Mostly Reaper, but there are all sorts in there.

I never rp with guys who use miniatures, though it'd help out some, most likely the only miniatures I'll get will be Battletech ones... still though, be glad you didn't have a cat or that photo would never have happened... =^.^=

That's a pretty damn impressive collection o.O Especially since most of them appear to be metals... what brands did you buy these from? (I'm guessing at least a few of them are Ral Partha or Iron Wind Metals...)

There are many different brands in there, and yeah, those ones are all metal. That is not the extent of the collection, we had a shit ton of file/rank guys that I was not willing to unbox for a photo op.

Do you ever play with them? Wargames or roleplaying or anything like that?

Of course! Mostly rping for me, but the rank & file guys are good for boring war strategy stuff.

Looks like about half of the bitz box I bought from a LGS around where I'm at.
Box weighed nearly 7 -10 pounds. FULL of metals and plastic from Ral Partha, Grenadier, GW, and assorted others.
