Okay. The submission process is getting annoying. So I'm rebooting the whole thing.

So let's start with the genesis of the idea: I was looking at a picture of a bird's wing, and I noted how similar it looked to a rabbit's ear. Bing! Instant image! Perfect for Fur Affinity! Now all I needed was to get it down on paper.

"All I needed"? Who knew making art would take such a long time? After all the hard work of making my first version (which, hopefully, you can find in the scraps section), I had to make a second version that looked reasonably decent (and I'm still not reasonably happy, but at this point, my standards are mild). I didn't originally intend to color it in with pencils, but I got energetically carried away and started blasting reams of color onto the paper.

The scanning was the worst part; all of my careful shading and color balance was made inexorably whiter. I attempted to fix that with GIMP, but I'm not too happy with the result. I think I'll try digital coloring next time, however much of a pain that is.
