Probably the most pretentious title I've ever given anything but Haida is an extremely deep character with a lot of nuance to him that I don't feel a lot of people understand.

A lot of Haida fanart that I've seen is typically him in his street clothes acting edgy, shy, quiet, sort of embarrassed almost and that's not his character at all, Haiada is out going, down to earth, positive and a nice guy, which is why that's his biggest flaw, he's the embodiment of "nice guys finish last", when he's around Retsuko he acts like he's better than everyone else or he does a lot of humble bragging, then when Retsuko talks to him on a personal level he shuts down and gets all nervous because he can't express his feelings to the person he likes and god does that hit me too fucking hard, for as much as I hate his character I only hate him because I see myself in him, too nervous to talk to the woman you have deep feelings for so you just shut down and leave it alone.

I like this image a lot for how ambiguous it is, you can interpret it in many ways.
