Any birds of your own?

Yeah I got a femal Eclectus. I don't feed her much Millet, but have had other birds in the past that nomed the heck out of the stuff.

Those are so pretty! Is she red or green?

Mmm, I want a bigger parrot, something medium sized like her. Ive liked the goffin cockatoos also.

She is mostly red and purple. All the females are that color and all the boys are green. It makes telling what sex they are really easy. Goffins are really cool too. So cute.

How many/what kind, of birds do you own?

I have a parrotlett, a pair of zebra finches a pair of society finches and one hand raised English house sparrow who was caught by a cat before the poor thing had feathers. He is all grown up now though and noisy to boot. Ive also bred and raised cockatiels in the past with my mother though I dont own any at this time.

I use to have Zalli my Green Cheek Conure. Winter was terrible to him and he past away before I moved to NZ. I was in the process of looking for a new home for him too for when I was gone. He was so cuddly and beat up our cats. Now I'm just a cat lady with a old skiny dirty cat, fat +20lb cat, and a disabled shrinky-dink of a cat(my baby).

but OMG I <3 sparrows. Not so much zebra ones. Fast small birds kind of creep me out.

Oh I remember that back when my mother had budgies. They went absolutely crazy for that stuff. They would cling onto the strings even if you tried to shake them off.

Every last one Ive had just loved to randomly scream all the time.

Bean is cool because she is a true parrot and can learn to talk but she doesn't have the right vocal cords to scream so she just makes these little squeaks.

They didn't scream really lol but they did replicate all the outside birds sounds and even our own whistles. We both had our own chirp or whistle when we talked to them and some even greeted us with the same whistle when we came into the room
