Yeah, so...blah.
Mister guy here without a name currently is a Prehistoric Shark called a Helicoprion, information on said shark can be found here:

GUESS NO ONE SAW THAT COMING, HUH? NEED MOAR FISH PEOPLE THINGS. Especially very obscure one has probably EVER heard about, EVER.
Some places and anatomy...irk me, as usual. I wanted to put more armor on him but I guess this fits. If I doodle him again, he will probably get some kind of weapon...but for now, pretend he has his dual hand scythes I guess. I just made that up BUT, sounded like a good idea at the time.
I guess came out decent enough. He is buddies with my Dunkleosteus guy, and...yeah. They are kinda a gang, so I gotta make up a couple more or so to hang out based on aquatic animals to hang with them. I just needed to design more anthro type characters, but of course not going to go the round about way. LOL And there are more then just aquatic critters...these are just the ones I am messing around with.
Basically one of the Beastmen from my fantasty story arc thing where Casra is from. Because I can. He's a really good swimmer, obviously. And most of my weird anthro things have the crazy digitrade feet...dinosaur habit.
I love his nose...it reminds me of a troll...hahaha. And yeah, you can probably see some Verg in there mostly because he's probably one of the most bad ass shark monsters ever. I guess its the ears...but I like weird wonky ears on my creature things. Well, if they need them. Hopefully will do some more crazy stuff like this. I gotta stop being so nit picky and actually do it. I worry too much. :<

Haha, yeah. I don't even know, I just throw piercings everywhere reflexively...especially if it looks like some place is blands and blah. XD

I remember bits and pieces of Blue Sub 6, just watched it back int he day when it showed on Toonami. I wanted to get the box set but apparently it is out of print, so when I go back to NC there is an anime store and i'll probably hit that place up for it, haha.
And I haven't seen the whole of Eureka 7, though I really love the art style of the anime. The series did confuse me quite a bit, but I only caught like sparse episodes when it was on the tube. XD
As for the gills, I think they are on the neck, under the weird aquatic wraps they have on their bodies. Both land and sea! Fun time go!

Thank you! Hahaha, and...because so many mentioned Megalodon, I did sketch one up. Trying to figure what i'm going to do as far as armor goes, but i've come to the conclusion that they don't really need much considering their skin is hard as hell anyway. XD BUT...yeah...hopefully I finish him. I've been trying to finish a lot of backed up stuff lately. @_@
I actually have heard of those things, JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM LIKE LAST WEEK. D': Weirddd.
But holyshit this guy is so awesome, what a badass design, oh hoh. I love his face especially, that nose is excellent. :'D His hands and feet are also sweet, and I just really love all his details, with the markings and the scars and everything. :U <3 him~

And thank you! And YES! NOSE! I dunno, when I started drawing him I noticed a lot of the reconstructions had a long nose like a Goblin Shark (which I one day may try and do one of) and I tried to keep that there but at the same time, I guess, still keep it very monstery. And hehe, yeees, hands and feetsies! Claws are great!
His coloration was very random, normally I do up like al ittle sketch and throw color all over it until I pick up what I want, but this just sorta came together. I guess semi inspired by Tiger Shark, in some places. XD

XD Thank you very much! And honestly? I am not sure, lol. I just went a little crazy and tried to take aspects of some of my more favored beast people critters and did whichever. Though now I look back and wish I had been more inventive with his armor but oh well. ><;;
