I'm not really the cheapest, since I use the best quality materials I can get - hand-carved bone, glass beads, sinew, high quality metals and real fur/feathers/leather - but my work with withstand a lot of use/wear/abuse for years to come. :)

have to say, the necklaces are simple but attractive. I have to wonder however, where your source for those tails are.

I buy most of my materials wholesale, these came from a trapper based out of Wisconsin I believe.

I was wondering based on the horrific methods used by numerous trappers and fur farmers to harvest pelts. I'm not against fur but I don't support fur farms and most commercial trappers.

It's good to know for me if I commissioned you, which I'm currently curious about.

These particular people use live traps, which I consider to be the least cruel of all the methods, it's a fairly small group of trappers in a midwestern guild. I prefer generally to get farmed fur - most place (I noted most, not all) actually take very good care of their animals and humanely euthanize them. I agree it is sad they live just to be used for fur, but they are kept in MUCH better conditions than food cattle or chickens, for instance. It's definitely a touchy subject.

I thank you for being so open. => It is a touchy subject and hard to work with sometimes. I'll have to think some more on ideas, but I could very well request a commissioned peice if you were up to it in the future.
