At the time I drew this, I had some fairly-dark ideas for drawings, but then my pervert brain said "fuck that, let's draw some scalie girls in shorts and panties", and I followed through with that. It's a Daspletosaurus stretching her arms whilst yawning, eager to start her day, though her companions/roommates, an ice dragoness and a crocodile, are far less enthused about getting up.

Partly inspired by someone's artwork on DA of an adorable dragoness yawning whilst wearing a yellow shirt and shorts, I looked through various stock images of women in the sort of attire you'd expect them to wear in their sleep. The Daspleto's shorts I loosely-based off of a stock image of a woman wearing spotted shorts with lace trim, whose pose I used as the basis for her. The dragoness' panties I based off of another image woman's panty pattern, while the croc's attire is based off of another stock image woman's clothing. The Daspleto's scale and feather pattern I based off of artwork of a Daspleto I found on DA (as I found the feathered legs thing an interesting character design aspect), while the dragoness was based off of a Schleich ice dragon figure called an 'Ice Hunter', which also had an interesting design and color palette.
