Just thought I'd post these in this format, as they serve as an example of how four different artists tackled the same subject.
These are from four different commissions with pretty much the same reference. It isn't quite a fair comparison, because the images were for different purposes (the left is cropped from a much larger image used as a banner, the middle two are icons, and the rightmost was a "bust badge" won in a contest), but it's interesting nonetheless.
For the record, I think all four artists did an equally wonderful job; this isn't about comparing them in a quality sense - it's more that the line-up showcases very different art styles, which is always cool to see.

I also want to say that all four of these individuals were fantastic to work with and extremely professional. If you like the look of any of these four images, I strongly recommend checking them out for commissions.
