This is the significance behind Decro's backstory. Please read that story before you read this explanation.

I think writing out Decro's backstory had helped me express a lot of emotions and memories I've been holding close to me over the past decade or so. It's been quite the journey, from coming up with my fursona's species, designing his ref sheet and all the way to bringing life to him. My goal has been to make him parallel me in the real world, and I'm crazy happy with how much of my own life that I've breathed into him.

For you people who have suffered from depression before, I hope that there's something in this story that you can relate to, and know that there'll be a way out, no matter how hopeless everything seems.
