I never thought that I would get to this side of the fandom. I saw this little guy and I just had to have him. He is a kestrel with led eyes and moving jaw. I still don't know what to name him so any suggestions would help. I probably will end up making a second account for him to keep him away from my "other"artwork. I can't wait to take him out to some local meet ups in my area. Seriously though I need help naming him.

I don't know I feel like that might be too cheesy, it would be like calling a peregrine Perry. Now I do want to see that movie though. I never thought that it would be this difficult to name something as simple as a character, but this is something more, it is a part of me. This isn't like anything I've had before. I feel like every time I come up with a name it isn't good enough, almost like I'm not good enough. I keep second guessing myself to the point to where I don't even know what is a good idea and what is just subjective because I came up with the idea. I don't know what is original and what is just subconscious stolen from some idea that I've see somewhere else. Now that I think of it what is creativity, what is originality? Every thought and idea has gotten is inspiration from something else, everything from art to technology. It seems like any new idea is just something else. Every thing original has to break some kind of rules set up by the general public. But there is the other side too. Sometimes I feel like even when do come up with something truly original, people try to cling on to it. It does matter if it is good or bad, if everyone says that it is good then it becomes so subjective that it doesn't matter what you first thought of it, you start to think it is good too, just to try to fit in. That is one thing I love about this fandom is it is not about fitting in but standing out. You get to break whatever rules you want, and nobody will judge you for it. I feel like I am still trying to fit in for some reason, still second guessing myself because the thing as simple as letter combinations and grammar rules.... yeah that got deep, where was I. Oh yeah kes. I honestly would probably name him that, but one of my old hunting buddies had a kestrel named kes, and SHE was a she(the bird). That and like I said earlier it is like naming a Cooper's hawk Cooper( yes it was the same guy that named the kestrel kes that named his Cooper's hawk cooper, you'll never guess what he named his Harris hawk)by the way sorry bout the long comment, I guess I needed to vent a bit
Originality is usually how you get names like (no offense) "winglet snowyowl" or "clawraven cloacavent" or those kinda more "word salad" furry names you see a lot, those to me are less original than something like "Bob" or "Dave".
I mean hell I just gave up entirely on mine and just literally went with exactly what he is: A Pirate Eagle.
