Well it's about time.
Typical and boring as it might be, Krystal is what I remember as being my first furry crush - perhaps the closest I would truly describe as a waifu for me. As I've grown older though I've have only grown bitter as I realize how she has been completely wasted by Nintendo ever since she was shoved into the Starfox franchise and left to languish for all eternity, and ever since Zero came out I've begun to suspect that she's just going to be removed entirely. So this depiction of Krystal I intend to be more in line with how she originally would have been in Dinosaur Planet before it was turned into Starfox Adventures, as well as actually, you know, attempting to form some kind of backstory. There is much to be said about plans for the future, but for now I had just wanted to get something more general to set the tone.

I thought StarFox Assault had the right ideas for her character, they could have had a better execution, and more main-character'esc screentime would have done wonders though, since even if Assault did her right, she was still turned into a side character. StarFox isn't what it used to be, and most likely won't be ever again.
I thought the release of StarFox 2 was a sign of hope. Zero was hot garbage though. I don't have much faith that Nintendo will do this, but it would be nice IMO to see a more dynamic, serious StarFox game. they're never gonna replicate 64, so they might as well bring back the series in a new way. StarFox easily has potential as a scifi epic with wild, huge missions. I'd say a cross between Assault, and StarFox 2's playstyles, and throw Krystal, Miyu and Fay into the same canon. I would love to see the Switch's abilities tested in a war sim, with epic story and character interaction thrown into the mix. Something mind blowing.
