Alright, so I had a little bit of trouble thinking of something for Jake to be doing in my entry for the Jake contest. It has to embody Jake as a hopeless redneck, alligator wrestling's already been done and I could never draw that anyway, moonshine brewing seems kind of obvious and anyway what with there being very few dry counties left these days bootleg brew operations are generally just operated for the purpose of evading taxes now, and tend to be more serious and high-volume. So what is something really really redneck? Punching a state trooper in the face. I got to draw Jake all angry style too, foo dogs are fun to draw angry.

Chrome is so fun to paint. Guys, paint the reflections in your chrome it will look awesome don't just leave it gray I will be angry at you if you do that :V Also rust is pretty fun to paint too. Basically I am saying be ambitious in your drawings it always works out good for me.

It's unusual that I actually draw something happening, some action. I started drawing this expecting I would just draw some punching to practice before I started drawing the picture proper but the first one I did looked so good I just drew around that.

EDIT: I added cyan chest fur, which I'd forgotten to differentate from his green rest-of-the-body fur. Also I added a crumpled unfiltered cigarette, a redneck necessity.
