Chinook decked out in memorabilia from my four favorites in film and televised science fiction. Obi-Wan's lightsaber, Starbuck's tags, Zoe's holster and a TNG Trek uniform, similar to Troi's in later seasons I suppose.

Lol, Aheria tested. Agreed, it is awkward. It's just a doodle, I didn't think it through carefully. I sketched this between one of Jamy's (Animation seminar prof) rambles and lunch so, quick and lazy. Then slapped colors on it tonight per usual of my sketchbook thangs that I decide to upload.
We're both given pardons: Its a doodle, and I"m very blunt at 3am. :)
I never realized until looking through your gallery how ... geometrically you draw. Everything is a clearly defined shape, and very very even. Like Mivvsa's boobs in the pic with shae. its almost unreal how perfectly, seamlessly, ROUND they are. Its fascinating. My dear, I think you've jammed your math in your artwork. :P

It's all good, I like blunt crits. Sometimes it makes me notice things I hadn't already. (: Although alas, I already noticed the awkward as soon as I drew it, just was too lazy to fix/couldn't think of a way. If it were just any pole-like object, grabbing closer to the top would have allowed for more natural posing... but alas, lightsaber. Ouchie. XD Also I wanted it in her crotch for obvious lulz phallic reasons. So in the end I was like well, frak it, don't care to ponder it, it's staying there.
Lol, yeah, I do construct bodies very formulaically when I invent them! I think that's the easiest way to tell if I have used a reference or not. If the body is constructed in the way that you noted, I probs pieced it together from my brainpan. If it's more organic and natural looking, I probably had a photo reference or a model. I really need to take life drawing again, I'm starting to really dislike my treatment of anatomy as of late, it's very stiff.

Ahh that's right, except I think it was only part of the first season. Because by the second season she for sure had that purple V-neck thing already, and then it wasn't until the sixth season that she got a blue uniform back. But now I do recall the later incarnation of the blue uniform having pants. XD
