It was a few weeks of being in the dungeon. It was uncomfortable, dark and cold. The guard finally took me to see the king. It was the first time he's seem me in my new body. I could see him glancing at me. Tattered clothes, dirty and still getting used to having a tail the king walked up to me nodded and clapped his pawed hands together. A maid walk out from behind a column and looked at me then the king. "Yes master" she said. The king laughed "go fetch this lovely lady a new uniform and teach her how to be a proper maid" the maid nodded and took my hand. Before she could lead me away the king spoke "make sure you pretty her up too... oh and" he looked at me "from now on you'll call me Master"

I looked at him and the at the maid how gave me a look and I understood what I was supposed to do. "Yes, Master" I replied to the king. He laughed once again "quick leaner I see" He then motioned for the maid to take me away, she lead me away. She took me to the servents quarters of the castle. I didn't know if she or any other servent knew I used to be human and male, I was to embarrassed to mention it. She took me into a small room with a single bed and a wardrobe. "This is your new room" I looked around. "Okay" I replied. She opened the wardrobe and took out a maid outfit and told me I'll have to have this on whenever I leave my room. There were some change of clothes including underwear. She told me to get cleaned up in the shared cleaning and grooming area and report back to my room in 30 minutes.

I did that and put on the maid outfit. She then helped me apply nail polish and makeup. She never asked why someone my age wouldn't already know how too. She stated training me on how to be a maid. It wasnt fun and by the end of the day I was exhausted. The next day I but on my uniform and walked out in the halls. I thought to myself alone in the castle halls, was it worth it....yes yes it was.

A few months have gone by and Ive learned to do my new job pretty well. The king, I mean my master let me write letters to Samantha and her daughter. They are happy. Sarah is in a great school, she loves reading. Least thats what Samantha tells me, I do believe her. Im glad I did what I did. I also wrote to my friend and explained what happened. It took a while for him to write back but he seemed strangely okay with it all.

I've also think I've fallen in love with a guard... Stuff has been okay with my new life....
