Starlight bathed Nemui's form as she stood amongst fauna and flora, her ears twitching at the sound of shimmering stars; soft chiming and twinkling causing her ears to flicker. Her eyes closed as she allowed her senses to take in the ambience, the symphony of the stars, the silence of the surroundings.
She swayed some, feeling her body fall backward onto a bed of hydrangeas. The soft flowers puffed outward, petals scattering across her pelt and some straying into her long mane. They fell like snowflakes from a winter’s sky, contrasting and melting into her coat.
The Ursine smiled gently, starlight swimming in her golden eyes, constellations dancing waltzes across her skin as she watched her kindred from below. Moonlight and starlight mingled and filtered through the distant trees, a dazzling array of spotlights in the evening sky and in this distant glade - distant though it may be - she was home. The stars never left her, and she never left them, for she was one of them and would be, forevermore.
