The national football league is a criminal organization. But I feel that way about every multinational corporation whose promotions become inescapable. At least it isn't a year round thing, like terrible movies and music. I might buy logo-branded snacks if they feature a losing team and are discounted after that is revealed. But a lot of the stuff is generic! Football always wins.

Anyway it seems to me that our strange parking-lot character has the same need to broadcast his preference as the fans who have to constantly brag about their team. As if a troupe of highly-paid sportsball players' accomplishments were somehow theirs as well.
