Elephant Bird Sketches 03
After Sketching Aepyornis maximus skeletons, and skulls Based on photos of flightless birds and my acquaintance with a certain friendly Emu named Edwina, I fleshed out the bird, and gave it some weight. Plumage wise it seems that mose flightless birds are desaturated and drab, with the exception of the Cassowary, I followed the examples of the other birds. There was some evidence of a crest, but I wasn't sure how far to proceed with that, so On the final art I had an indication of one, but not flared up.
