So, this is my first official full pic done in Clip Studio Paint after a few days of fiddling around with it. There are a few things I'm not super proud of, like the brush I used, but overall it came out better than I thought...I can only hope to get better and better at using the program from now on ^^; Please, let me know what you think! <3

I think it looks great!
I understand the frustrations of finding the right brush to use in Clip, after coming from Sai in particular. Took me like a year before I got fully comfortable with brushes in Clip. In my case I had gotten so used to the way the water brush blended and using that as a base for custom brushes I made. Moving into Clip, there are a few things it's brush engine simply can't do the same, and one of those things is the behavior of the marker and water tool in Sai. There's possibility to get close with the water brush but not really the same, and in my experience it can get laggy. I think Clip's brush engine is overall better but takes some getting used to, and the switch can be really hard. Sorry, didn't mean to write an essy. >w<;;

No no, don't worry, if anything I'm thankful you took your time to write this to me!
I was admittedly in a bit of a panic today because of how things felt different and of how clunky I felt X3; But it does seem to be a normal process. I just gotta be patient and keep experimenting with the brushes!
Your comment was really encouraging <3

Glad it helped!
I should have linked to this forum post in my original comment but I had forgotten. It has a comment that has lots of charts comparing the tool properties from Sai and Clip, I hope it can help you a bit. :3
