I've always been fascinated by aliens, and how their anatomy basically has indefinate possibilities for differences between normal people.
This picture is featuring a huge growth spurt. What I tried to capture was the growth starting from the lower right of the page and working to the upper left, and the viewer is just looking into the picture at the very end where his last arm is catching up.
I'd actually like to explain some things about this piece. There are muscules here where i intentionally tried to be creative in how the body worked. The abs, obliques, forearms, quadricep area, and calves.
I just imagined tobias as being able to expand when he breathed differently, the abs work like normal ab tissue, however, they also expand from side to side, much like an accordian, aiding in the torso's ability to widen to a greater size. The obliques also facilitate this, as some of the muscles are designed like a pulling muscle, as odd as that may seem.
Some of these pulling muscles are seen in other places they really should'nt be. The inside of the quadriceps have one near the crotch area.
Lastly, the ...eh...fuyck i don't know what to call this, the second quadricep, the subcalf? I dunno, the part attached to the quadricep, is like a mixture between a calf, and a bicep.
So yeah, i had a fuckton of fun on this picture, it's also pretty cool that Submissive Trout enjoyed the picture as much as he did.

Very cool. That level of creativity that you're free to have with alien characters, I can certainely imagine that to be fun for an artist. It can be done with pre-exixting characters, but then you have to explain it. You did a good job of trying it out here, the lines are clean as always, I don't have to comment on the muscularity by now, do I?
Nah you're free from having to state the obvious of he's huge. ^_^
Though thanks for acknowledging my creativity. The body has always been my playground. It's just a lot of other big to-do people like to criticise me if THE WRISTS ARE TOO SMALL or something , yaknow?
(The wrists are too small will be the longest running gag i'll ever have, i'm sure of it. )

The wrists are too big.

No, seriously. This is quite out of the blue and out of the ordinary. I bet it must have been exciting to step outside the norm and get all inventive, making your own anatomy rules and so forth.
On an unrelated note.....when can we expect you to read some more junk mail to us?

THE WRISTS ARE TOO -- No, wait, actually they aren't. Nice 'n thick, actually, at least on the arm that's finished growing. Wow of all the alien species, I didn't realize these guys from Planet Ice would be so popular! A -very- nice job on makin' him look so big and buff and sexy even, Ice!
Like I told you before, I'm really happy with this work Ice, the sheer, almost fanatical attention to detail is most impressive. You don't just churn out some pic, you actually take all that time to put the effort and thought into it, and I'm most greatful for that. It's not quite what I had expected, but surprises are fun ^_^
It's also hot as shit XD

Nope, but the anatomy of the body is my medium of expression. I fuck around with it like some artists do modern art.
Which is why at times i fiercely defend the anatomy in a piece. When i do something, it's the way i want it to be, in most cases.
You would'nt believe how many days i got accosted when i drew a raksasha giving the peace sign. I was accosted for days...upon days....upon days.
(Raksahsa are tiger people from DND, they look basically like tiger furries, except their hands are on upside down.)

On the inside of the thigh? I think you mean the biceps femoris. It attaches just medially of the knee.
This is diarmaidhutchence, educating the world one day at a time. Back to you, Tom.
