Welcome to my very first attempt at writing an ongoing story series. I don't want to give too much about it away, but I'm sure you can get a pretty good idea about what's going on from the awesome cover art that we received from 
. He was an absolutely amazing artist to work with. Very professional, very fast. Go commission him!
So... Lion Taming will be posted in chapters with some new art for each section. I hope that you all will like it, but to warn you it will be decidedly.... well, yiffy. :p
To give you an idea of what is to come, here are a couple of character introductions for the main characters of these stories.
Breeze
Species: Squirrel
Age: 18
Occupation: Senior at Fuhran High
Background: Breeze grew up in town and still lives with his parents (who are both in the medical profession). It means he is home alone quite a bit, so the young squirrel seeks out companionship and adventure with his friends.
Quite popular at school, Breeze is well known as a friendly and helpful squirrel and gets along with almost everyone. His close friends, however, know that there is a darker side to Breeze. While he is never hurtful, he also will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Breeze befriended the young lion, Far, almost the day he first moved into town two years ago. While they don't move in the same circles at school, they often hang out together and Breeze slowly developed a mild crush on the lion. Over time, his crush grew into something stronger and the squirrel found himself fantasizing about the lion. He tried to keep his distance, however, knowing how insecure Far was with his own feelings (though he obviously had begun to be smitten with the squirrel as well).
Seeing how much the young predator had grown at his 16th birthday party in his tight swimming shorts... something solidified in Breeze's mind. He had to have the lion even if it meant forcing him to realize his own attractions. And, so... it was time to begin putting plans into action...
Far
Species: Lion
Age: 16
Occupation: Sophmore at Fuhran High
Background: Far grew up in the north and enjoyed a fairly peaceful childhood. His parents were never very well off, but they did their best for the small family. With a few close friends, Far was happy with his place in the world.
Not long before his 14th birthday, however, his father got a promotion at work. It was great news for him and his family. But, it meant moving far from the only home that young Far had known. It was a frightening and sad time for him, but he tried to be happy for his father as they relocated and settled in the distant town of Fuhran.
Far spent several days alone in his room, staring out the window and longing to be back with his friends. He had begun to feel as if he would never fit in in this new town when a squirrel named Breeze, two years older than him, approached him one day when his mother had forced him to go to the pool to "socialize". The two became immediate friends, and Far looked up to Breeze as a sort of mentor.
Far always knew that he had a sort of attraction to other males, but his upbringing told him that it was wrong. So, he kept it at bay and tried to ignore it... trying to busy himself with school and his friends. He desperately tried to convince himself that he was somehow not interested in sex. Even though, lately... he has begun having some heavy dreams about his friend, Breeze.
Shortly after his 16th birthday, Breeze invites him to spend the day at his house while his parents are away. Thinking little of it, and somewhat more excited than he really feels he should be, Far makes his way happily to the squirrel's house...
