This last in a series of photos taken at "Megaplex" in Kissimmee, Florida (back in July, 2009) features another attendee who I haven't seen in years - in spite of the fact that we both live in the 'Sunshine State'...
Scudder Kidwell - a.k.a. White Pony - came all the way from Ocoee, FL for the 'furry con'. In the past, we were among contributors to "The Dallas Brawl Update", and he is best known for his equine character 'Beth the White Guardian'. Today, he has a website you all can visit - "White Pony Productions" - just by going to http://www.whiteponyproductions.com/
And he came to my monetary rescue at "Megaplex", when I ran out of funds following Day One (and I couldn't find a branch of my bank with an available ATM). He'd lent me $20, and even though I'd promised to reimburse him, he refused to accept the money back. With the "Christmas in July" theme at said con, this was the definitive "spirit of giving" moment! (You can read more about it in my live journal "Megaplex... And/Or Bust!".)
I'd asked GenesisW to take a picture of White Pony and I on Day Two. I'm wearing my official "Megaplex" T-shirt and another cap loaded with buttons of various 'funny animal' characters.
I hope to get in touch with White Pony on a more frequent basis, following this rare reunion. At least, I hope to see him again at the 2010 edition of "Megaplex" next summer, when the theme will be "Mad, Mad Doctors".
In the meantime, I hope to post the rest of my photos from the convention in the "Megaplex" website. While waiting for them to be uploaded, you can check out pictures from other attendees by going to http://www.ppmp.info/

I had the pleasure of meeting both Genesis and White Pony at MegaPlex'18, and I would have come back out for MP'19 had there not been a scheduling conflict with a Weird Al Concert. MegaPlex is a nice gathering, even if July in Orlando is one of the craziest times and places to have a furcon.
