Well the candybots whole aesthetic was inspired by Tyson Tan's "think candies" piece, showing the thought process behind designing some of his robots!

Design-wise, aye, TysonTan's the source for their look; though concept-wise, the conversion aspect was from some series of Halloween stories on here I read a bit ago that shook us up -hard-. Hence the horror aspect to begin with.
