The infinite Mother Dragon, who watched the cosmos and all its wonders, sent her eggs across the visible universe so they could find something to guard all their own. The countless eggs fell like stars, landing unseen on many worlds. Some were buried, sunken, and merged with natural materials... for decades, even centuries, until they hatched. Infused with part of nature, they are driven to protect what gave them strength and share that power with the worlds.
These miniature scaled dragons are now in my online shops, ready to adopt! I started out with 10 little rescues but they all got adopted before I could list them. These little ones are still looking for a home! Each are handmade from a miniature gourd, wire, and epoxy clay with fabric sewn wings. Painted with acrylics. 3-4 inches long.

Here are backstories to each one:
Rose (upper left):
The very first hatchling to poke from their egg is Rose. It came into the world nestled in a flowering bush, thus adopted its vibrant colors. It sees the world with eyes wide open, stopping to smell the flowers, and asking questions... If little roars count as questions.
Quartz Gold (upper right): The fifth dragon was excited to see the world - it burst out of his egg with a great, squeaky roar! It was more adorable than it was ferocious. Its egg had been next to a gold vein embedded in white quartz stone. An explorer found this little one hugging the stone and protecting it with all its tiny fury. Once the explorer explained that they were friendly, the dragon lightened up and is a loyal, feisty companion.
Citral (lower left): The third dragon to hatch is named Citral - the pumpkin dragon. His egg blended into the pumpkin patch. He was even more camouflaged when he hatched! But as the pumpkins were sold and the garden was left green, he didn't know where to go. The farmer found him and kept him safe until he was rescued. He still looks forward to Fall and seeing the pumpkins.
Ash Paw (lower right): The seventh dragon, named Ash Paw, ended up in a hot and fiery place. It could take the heat of course, being a dragon. But as it stepped out of the egg, it danced on the hot ground, stirring up ash and making its feet turned white and black. This little one marched down the volcanic mountain into town, leaving little black footprints wherever it went.
