Hey Everyone! Today I wanted to give you my third piece out of my four-piece series of dragon eyes, this time with colored pencil on black background!

Anyways, it’s always great experimenting with new art strategies to evoke different variations of color. By using the black paper as my base, I did not need to worry about shading as much, and with the contrast, any highlights I used stood out extremely well! This eye actually was created using my Demetrius color scheme, since blue works extremely efficiently on a black background. Anyways, I hope you like it (and stay tuned for eye-type Commissions)!
