
Still getting the hang of scanning the painted pages, they don't look quite as splashy and alive as the real thing but I'm figuring out more and more little techniques as I go. Anywho, using this "revision" of sorts to fix some stuff in the timeline that doesn't work, etc...

Resolution setting, perhaps?
At Christmas I scanned an ancient Addam's Family cartoon to take to work [Lurch and Gomez are about to dump boiling oil on a group of carolers three floors below]. It was done with brush and india ink.
Since the transfer from the original to the book increased the image's contrast, it looks a bit off to the critical eye. The first couple of scan attempts looked really bad. I finally decided to bite the bullet and go with max resolution, and it came out close to the copy in the book.
