Population control code? Care to enlighten, and potentially endow us, with an explanation?

They live in hidden groves protecting exposed leyline nodes. Due to limited housing space and food capacity, Feneris are only allowed to mate for reproduction, and only until their first child. After that, they're forbidden from any mating for the rest of their lives, unless something happens to their offspring or the population drops drastically.

While the males have been somewhat conditioned over hundreds of years to accept this fate, the females have not. They have observed what happens outside their territory, what the other races do.

Unless the males are the ones housing the child, wouldn't it be the females that would more judiciously follow the population control code (assuming female orgasms aren't distinctively mind blowing) ?

Because in this universe, mana is present in female's breasts ("Mana Tanks") and inside males' seed, the act of a male cumming inside of a woman tends to send them into intense bliss that is almost addicting (and recharges their mana reserves, while at it). Similar to how casting spells and the mana flowing through one's body is able to send anyone into a near ecstatic state. Which is the reason why most males of other races are not allowed to learn magic because it has terrible consequences.

That, and following the animal rules a bit more accurately, women in my universe are only pregnant for about 2-3 months, tops. (They also reach adulthood at 10, rather than 20, because they mature extremely quickly compared to humans). So you can imagine how overpopulation can become a problem.

Man, this is why we can't have nice things like magic: cuz we know someone's gonna go and abuse that shit >:(
